Off the kickoff from that last Katoa try, Bulldogs debutant Declan Casey has got himself into an awkward position in the tackle on Andrew Fifita, and the 22-year-old has not got up.
Replays show Casey being hit square by Fifita’s shoulder.
“He’s a hard man to tackle, Andrew Fifita. There was no lack of courage from the young fella, you put yourself out there facing a man charging the wall. Fifita has been around a while, you feel for the young fella. What a courageous effort,” Steve Roach said in commentary for Fox Sports.
It doesn’t look good – he’s being taken off the field on the back of the medicab.
Fifita restarts, and the score remains 6-12 to the Sharks.
